Premium Blend Coffees

The premium blends that we serve, are artfully created by blending complex origin coffees, which creates a more complete and harmonious cup. We invite you to enjoy the depth and flavor of these blends. We love feedback, so let us know your favorite!

A blend of Indonesian and Central American coffees, this multi-award winning coffee is bold, chocolate-y and robust, but with an unusually sweet and pleasing finish—unlike any French Roast you’ve ever tasted. It’s no wonder this is our most popular blend.

Fans of Goat Rock Roast enjoy its big, bold flavors, with the sweet, rich tones that are too often lost in such dark roasts. It’s a full-bodied cup with hints of dark chocolate and a bit of spice at the finish.

We blend coffees from two progressive community farming projects abroad to create a cup that is sweet, well-balanced and lively.

Our Moka Java is an Organic and Fair-Trade version of the world’s oldest, most popular coffee blend. This timeless classic offers a delicious, full-bodied and complex cup with hints of wine and chocolate. While Americans associate the word "mocha" with chocolate, the facts are reversed: when cocoa was first sold in Europe, it reminded people of Moka coffee from Yemen.

Roasted between medium and full, this blend was created for cool, crisp mornings that call for flavor and heartiness to warm the soul. Hints of roasted chestnut, hazelnut and caramel can be found in this well-balanced cup.

This blend of Guatemala and Sumatra Organic coffees delivers a full-flavored cup that is vibrant, rich and floral, making it a wonderful choice for those who ask a little more of their morning cup.

Blended and roasted in the "Sonoma Style", this award-winning coffee delivers a cup that is full bodied, sweet and nutty, making it a must-try for espresso aficionados. This lively blend stands up well in milk-based drinks.

Blended for use by top-level baristas, Espresso series O is Taylor Maid Farms' most complex, sophisticated and ambitious espresso offered to date. While it is a wonderful choice for straight-shot espresso drinkers, it truly shines when used as a base in cafe Macchiato, Cappuccino or Latte. Notes of toasted nut, caramel cocoa, tobacco, fig, leather and butter all carry through the sweetness of freshly steamed milk, making it a must try for the espresso aficionado.

Espresso Decaf is perfect for fans of this style of espresso, and to everyone who desires a richer, bolder experience in coffee. This espresso coffee offers a cup that is sweet, rich and bold with hints of caramel and toasted hazelnut. Decaffeinated using water processing to ensure purity.

Roasted and blended for those who enjoy the full, rich flavor of organic coffees without the caffeine. As either a brewed coffee or a decaf espresso, this versatile blend is full-bodied, sweet and spicy with a smooth lingering finish. Decaffeinated using water processing to ensure purity.

Single Origin Coffees

These distinctive coffees offer the story of the people, their culture and the rich ecosystems that produce each and every cup. Unlike blended coffees, which keep a desired flavor profile consistent year-round, single origin coffees offer the coffee drinker an opportunity to take in the unique aromas and flavors of particular regions of a given country.

To assure you will always be served a superior cup of origin coffee, our offerings will be based on the peak seasonal harvests around the world. We hope you enjoy experiencing how the aromas and flavors change with the seasons.

Colombia – Doña Isidora Tres

Oswaldo Acevedo's revitalization of his grandmother's coffee farm (originally planted in 1872) to become the first social and ecological demonstration farm in Colombia has earned praise from environmental and business groups worldwide. We have proudly supported this coffee since 1994. Doña Isidora is medium to full in body, distinctively sweet and fruity with tones of cherry and chocolate.

Nicaragua – UCA Miraflor

The eighteen families that make up Nicaragua's Miraflor Natural Reserve produce organic coffee, vegetables, and dairy products on small shaded farms, as well as house the largest collection of orchids (220 species) and birds (236 species) in Central America. The cup profile of their wonderful coffee is bright in acidity with rich body and a sweet, creamy flavor.

El Salvador

This antique cultivar comes from a small family farm next to the El Imposible National Forest in El Salvador, a critical reserve for endangered species of migratory songbirds. Washing & fermenting with mineral water from its hot spring, and processing with geothermal-powered equipment, this farm employs some of the most unique "green techniques" we have seen. El Imposible offers a deeply complex cup with notes of dried fig and tawny port.

Mexico

The growers from the 23 villages that make up the "21 De Septiembre Cooperative" grow heirloom coffee on small plots of and in what many consider to be the best coffee land in Oaxaca, Mexico—the Sierra Madre del Sur mountain range. Grown at altitudes ranging from 1,200–1,800 meters, the cup quality of this coffee is sweet, fruity and deliciously citrus with notes of semi-sweet chocolate and ripe cherries.

Sumatra

This incredible offering is a first for Indonesia. Similar to the "Extra Fancy" coffees of Kona, the Gayo Mountain "Triple Picked" consists of only extra large beans, which are meticulously prepared and free of imperfections. It offers an incredible mouth-filling cup with notes of cacao, chocolate stout, caramel, roasted hazelnut and honeysuckle and is also a wonderful choice for espresso.

Ethiopia

Taste Ethiopia Yirgacheffe and know why many in the coffee trade consider it to be one of the finest coffees in the world. This coffee, grown by the Oromia coffee farmers cooperative, offers a cup that is rich and complex with lemon-like tartness, fruity body and a gentle floral aroma.

Premium Teas

Black Teas

Black tea results from allowing tea leaves to go through their natural oxidation process. After harvest, the tea leaves are withered and rolled, bruising them and turning them a coppery-red color in just a few hours. Firing the leaves then stops oxidation. Our black tea blends feature the tastes of India and Sri Lanka. Carefully blended with herbs, spices and petals, these premium teas offer a variety of flavors and aromas sure to inspire.

High-grown tea from Sri Lanka combined with French and English lavenders creates an unusual interplay of fragrance and flavor. Add milk and honey for a sweet ambrosia.

Inspired by India's traditional spiced tea, our blend of tea and exotic spices is a delight with milk and honey! Traditional brewing recipe included with your order.

Fragrant orange, sweet spices and calendula petals adorn Indian black tea. This well rounded blend of citrus and spice is a good choice for iced tea.

A lively blend of Assam and Ceylon black teas with colorful petals will brighten your morning, or anytime, with its hearty, rich brew.

Green Teas

Green tea comes from the same plant as black tea: Camelia sinensis; it is simply processed differently. Freshly picked tea leaves are steamed or pan-fired to stop the oxidation process, preserving the delicate green color and flavor. Studies show that the health benefits of green teas, rich in antioxidants, range from supporting cardiovascular health to inhibiting cancer cell growth.

Herbal Teas

Many of the featured herbs and flowers in our teas are harvested, dried and hand-processed in California. Organic growers worldwide complete the ingredient list with plants native to foreign lands. There is a story behind every ingredient; when combined to create the blends we serve, they tell a new story. We'd like to share it with you, and hope you enjoy the healthful benefits and enticing flavors.
